Actor Bill Murray's wife has claimed the 'Lost in Translation' star is a violent alcohol, drug and sex addict in court papers related to the couple's impending divorce.
Jennifer Butler Murray is a costume designer who has been married to Murray since 1997.
According to the Associated Press, the court papers, written by Butler Murray's lawyer Robert Rosen, claim that she moved to South Carolina due to the star's "adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addiction [and] frequent abandonment".
The papers also allege that Murray would often leave the country without telling his wife to engage in "public and private altercations and sexual liaisons".
Murray and Butler Murray have four children, aged from seven to 15, and Butler Murray, 42, is seeking sole custody.
The actor's attorney did not comment on the allegations but said his client was "deeply saddened by the breakup of his marriage".
